Trouz Bras at WGBH
On April 3rd, 2009 Trouz Bras took part in the 3rd "Boston Session" for WGBH Radio. Along with the band, there were Matt and Shannon Heaton, Simon Chrisman, Tri and Paddy Keenan.
The show will be broadcast on WGBH as part of the "Celtic Sojourn" show with Brian O'Donovan - check www.wgbh.org/celtic for details. I believe that it's being broadcast on June 13th.
We played live for an invited audience of around 100 people and much fun was had by all.
Here are some photos of the day + some of the after session dinner at Brian O'Donovan's house. Click on a photo to see a larger version.

Breizh radio on your ipod touch or iphone
If you own an ipod touch or iphone, you can now get a 3rd part app that allows you to listen to five radio stations from Brittany while you are on the go!
Just go to the "apps store" on your device and search for "Breizh." Only one app comes up and it's called "iBZH." It costs nothing to download and install on your device, and immediately you can be listening to Radio Kerne, Radio Kreiz Breizh, Radio Bro Gwened, Radio Avorig FM and Radio Plum FM. Radio Plum FM is broadcasting some of its shows in the Gallo language.
The only drawback that I find with the app is that if you have your device "lock" activated, then as soon as it locks, you lose the program. I just leave my itouch unlocked!
If you don't own an ipod touch or iphone, you can listen to all five stations online at:

In Gratitude
Being new to Trouz Bras and blogging... I wish to say "hello!!"
I'm grateful and excited to have joined the band and having a lovely time co-creating along with Barry's wizardry on fiddle along with many other instruments, Matt's inspiring bass playing and creativity and Ray's beautiful compositions and steadfast pipes and dulcimer playing.
I'm also looking forward to our making music of the kind that deeply stirs my heart and soul and hopefully others as well.
